To ensure the best possible tattoo experience and results:
Get plenty of rest the night before so your body is energized.
Eat a healthy meal before your appointment to keep your blood sugar stable.
Stay hydrated — drink water before and during your session.
Avoid alcohol and blood thinners (like aspirin) for at least 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area.
Moisturize your skin in the days leading up to your appointment (but skip lotion on the day of).
Bring entertainment (headphones, book, music) if it’s a longer session.
Arrive on time and bring a valid ID for age verification.
A little preparation helps your artist work more efficiently and ensures you’re as comfortable as possible throughout your tattoo session.
We also recommend reviewing our preparation guidelines before your session.
Remember to stay calm and relaxed—you’re in good hands!

The initial healing process takes about two weeks, but full skin regeneration can take several months.
You can learn more about the healing process here.

Proper aftercare is essential for keeping your tattoo vibrant and healthy. We recommend:
Leave the bandage/second skin on for the time your artist advises.
Wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
Gently wash the area with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub.
Apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo aftercare ointment or lotion.
Avoid soaking in water (baths, pools, hot tubs) and stay out of direct sunlight until fully healed.
Do not scratch or pick at peeling skin or scabs — this can cause fading or scarring.
Follow these steps for 2–4 weeks until your tattoo is fully healed. If you notice any unusual redness, swelling, or signs of infection, contact us or your healthcare provider right away.
Every client receives professional tattoo aftercare guidance to ensure optimal healing and long-lasting results. We also carry recommended aftercare products in the studio.
Every shop has their own recommended care methods. You will be given an instruction card after you’ve been tattooed and you can read more here.
